At Oregon Medical Massage, our specialty is helping you to recover from injury quickly by addressing pain in an environment that promotes healing, stimulates recovery and enhances the body’s natural mechanisms of regeneration, all while relaxing in a stress-free and comfortable way. With over a decade of experience in the healthcare field, the founder has extensive background in dealing with acute injuries, chronic and degenerative diseases and also wellness care. Our therapists are licensed by the Oregon Board of Massage Therapy and are additionally certified in Medical Massage, plus have years of professional practice experience. We have what it takes to help you with any issue and believe that any body can benefit from massage.

We are a small, independently owned private practice. In order to better provide more comprehensive treatments for a wide range of health problems, Oregon Medical Massage coordinates with patients, doctors and other medical professionals to provide patients with referral based access to massage therapy. We can help you coordinate with your doctor and your insurance company to get your treatments covered. We also offer direct access, self referred care and wellness plans of care for non-insured or under insured patients.

If you’re in need of accident recovery treatment options that are covered through Oregon Workman’s Compensation law (Work Comp), Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) or other Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims, contact us today. We can help you get the treatments that you need to aid your recovery and have a knowledgeable staff that can help you navigate your claim. We are excited to announce that we are now on-panel and accepting Injured Workers who are enrolled in Majoris Health Systems, as well as all open Injured Workman’s Compensation claims in Oregon.

We also now accept many major commercial health insurance plans including Kaiser Permanente Self-Referred and Kaiser Provider-Referred plans, PacificSource Commercial Plans, Regence BlueCross BlueShield, Regence Group Administrators RGA/HMA, Aetna, Optum / United Health Plans including UMR, UHC as well as Samaritan Health Plans and more. We are NOT Medicare or Medicaid Providers at this time, but some Medicare Advantage Plans may cover massage. We are now on panel as of 2026 and accepting TriCare West Community Cares Network (VACCN) for our Veterans!

Medical Massage

Oregon Medical Massage offers targeted treatments using advanced massage therapy techniques for faster recovery and healing from most ailments and diagnosed diseases. A medical massage will stimulate your bodies innate mechanisms to help it to heal from injury or illness by finding the root cause of the pain and targeting it with treatments that are designed to provide specific relief.

Myofascial Massage

Myofascial release is a form of massage therapy that uses sustained pressure to loosen or release tightness in connective tissues (fascia). A myofascial massage from Oregon Medical Massage can do wonders for your health and body.

Bodywork Massage

Recovery Massage

Motor vehicle accidents and sports injuries are just a few of the conditions that could necessitate a recovery massage. We make use of deep tissue massage, trigger point massage, and instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation to help residents in the community of Eugene, OR heal in a way that feels as relaxing as possible.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I have been seeing Michael for over two years now due to my lower back pain, along with a few other issues. After seeing doctors, chiro, physical therapist, etc. I feel fortunate to have Michael’s help with my treatment because it’s pretty much the only time I get relief. I also have had him work on issues with my knee and TMJ. He has been a HUGE help with my TMJ pain along with really bad lower back pain. I feel like he does an amazing job from the beginning when communicating my goals and amount of pressure and at this point has really taken the time to make sure that he knows my issues and addresses them at every visit.
